The Agency at UF
I worked at UF’s student-staffed strategic communications firm for two years. As a shared media manager, you could find me proudly leading a team of seven students as we worked to rebrand The Agency’s Instagram profile @theagencyatuf through interactive, bright and meaningful content. Previously, I worked as a media coordinator and helped strategize social media communications and local ambassador programs for our clients Tommy Hilfiger and Orangetheory Fitness.
The Agency provides clients with an innovative and efficient approach: True Gen Z experts developing breakthrough Gen Z advertising and PR solutions.
I manage The Agency's Instagram page.
Our goal with @theagencyatuf is to showcase our Gen Z perspective, culture and passion for media and research-driven client success through creative graphics, video and photography. Our page is a curated mix of photography/video from events, travel and staff successes, and graphics that celebrate our recruitment season and fun holidays. I established our ‘Takeover Thursdays’, a weekly story takeover by a member of our staff as they take our audience through their day working at The Agency.
As an Orangetheory Fitness media coordinator, I produced original content for our local gym's social platforms and helped launch and manage a UF student ambassador program.
Orangetheory Fitness offers group personal training through a mix of high intensity cardiovascular and strength workouts. For this client I:
• Managed content calendars for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
• Measured analytics and performance through Sprout Social.
• Researched competitor digital performance and social media presence to remain knowledgeable of fitness trends.
• Searched for user-generated content to reshare on Orangetheory Fitness Gainesville’s platforms.
• Structured and launched a local ambassador program comprised of UF students. I led this team of student influencers and tracked their content and analytics on their personal Instagram and Facebook profiles.
Tommy Hilfiger opened a concept store in the Gainesville area and turned to The Agency to help drive students to shop. Our solution? An ambassador program consisting of influential UF students.
As a media coordinator on our Tommy Hilfiger account I:
• Approved and provided guidance for our ambassador’s content, including photography and copy.
• Helped ambassadors navigate one of our biggest initiatives involving a campus-wide sweepstakes for a Tommy Hilfiger branded scooter.
• Tracked and reported ambassador content analytics to the client.
