Cross-Media Selling Projects

During my senior spring semester at the University of Florida, I took a master’s cross-media selling course and dove into the world of media sales. I absolutely loved this class, and found it to be one of my most enriching experiences at UF. Below are some of the projects I did that I am most proud of. Although they were theoretical, I learned so much from piecing together media sales pitches and strategies using the techniques we discussed in lecture.

Target Strategic Brief

For this project, my task was to act as a media sales representative for The Walt Disney Company’s television networks, pitching strategic media solutions for two Target video campaigns. I researched the company’s media advertising capabilities and pitched 6 different advertising packages for Target to reach their campaign goal and target audiences.

Beauti Launch Strategy

My final semester project was to develop a 3-month launch plan for Beauti, a theoretical fragrance brand targeted at women 18 to 24 years old. Keeping the target demographic and 2 million dollar budget in mind, I selected various traditional and digital media platforms for Beauti to make a splash in the market upon launch. In this presentation I detail my reasoning for each platform and tie it back to Beauti’s mission and the “Beauti girl.”
