VS Pink Marketing Shoots

In November 2018, I received an email from my boss at Pink with some news I never in my life expected to receive. I had been selected to be a part of Pink’s Girl Power Campaign, incorporating campus representatives in official Pink marketing for the very first time. I was one of six representatives (out of 220 nationwide) chosen to participate. I’m no professional model, but this was an incredibly professional environment and to be blunt, one of the coolest experiences of my life. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of participating in five other Pink shoots, including digital and social media campaigns.  

The Pink Girl Power campaign aimed to celebrate, support and inspire girls everywhere to follow their dreams and fulfill their goals.

We shot the #PINKGIRLPWR campaign in Long Beach, California on California State University’s campus. Working with the production, hair/makeup and styling teams was the most unique experience I’ve ever had. This was my first time ever “modeling” in a professional setting and I had no idea what to expect. Everyone came together to produce a project that tied Pink’s brand to the collegiate girl. The beauty of this campaign is that it celebrates girl power from the lenses of real college girls, and those girls (who I met for the very first time at our fitting) have gone on to become amazing friends. Still today, a year since the campaign was shot and released, we uplift one another and celebrate our successes, staying in touch from all over the U.S. I am eternally grateful for this experience and to Pink for truly embodying girl power through this campaign and every campaign moving forward.

I had the pleasure to be interviewed by Pink's team and shared some ways I spread girl power with my friends. The video was shared on Pink’s official Instagram where it currently has over 103k views.

The campaign was shot in New Jersey and featured how Pink has the perfect outfit for any occasion hanging out with friends. It was an extension of the girl power campaign and featured real college girls having real fun.
