#MojoForTheKids Campaign

The capstone course for UF’s PR program is a campaigns class in which student teams develop an original public relations campaign from start to finish. My team took on this challenge by creating a campaign for a local barbecue joint, Mojo Hogtown BBQ. Our goal was to increase the Gainesville community’s awareness of Mojo through increased community service and social media efforts. We developed a CSR campaign in which Mojo Hogtown would host a hospitality day where a percentage of the proceeds went to Dance Marathon, the biggest philanthropic event at UF where thousands of students come together to raise funds for the children at our local hospital. We named this initiative #MojoForTheKids.

Mojo For The Kids Campaign

Below you will find our campaign plan, featuring our research, strategies and tactics, social media assets and evaluation plan. Due to COVID-19, the hospitality event was canceled and our campaign was not able to be executed, but we were happy to provide Mojo Hogtown BBQ with the tools to hopefully implement the campaign in the future.
